Village Kids
What To Expect
Village Kids is a Sunday morning experience for kids. In our groups, your kids will learn about Jesus in an age-appropriate way and beg to come back. Double win for you!
Our staff, leaders, and volunteers are background checked and trained to love your kids to Jesus. We have exciting teaching, interactive worship, crafts, games, and stories.
Village Kids meets at 9 & 10:30 AM during The Village worship gathering. During their time together, they will laugh together, sing together, pray together, and creatively learn about a Bible story. Kids will join others their age in small groups to have conversations about the day’s story, talk about their week, and form friendships!
Times and Activities
When you enter our building, the Village Kids area is to the right - Look for the big Village Kids sign! All children are checked in electronically prior to entering the Village Kids area. First time guests will work with a Check-In Greeter to get their children assigned to the appropriate group.
After checking in, parents are provided a security sticker that matches the security number on their child(ren)’s nametag. Adults without an appropriate sticker will not be allowed into the Village Kids area.

All Village Kids employees and volunteers are experienced, trained, and have undergone a thorough background check. If you have any questions, please email our Director of Village Kids, Tyler Shaw.
Safety
Nursery
Children ages 6 weeks through 3 years old are welcome to join the Village Kids Nursery. A team of experienced, trained, and paid nursery staff will care for your little ones during worship.
Children who turn 3 years old by August 15th of the current year are invited to attend our Village Kids Preschool programming.

Village Kids Buddies
Does your child or a child you know want to experience worshiping and learning about God with their friends, but have separation anxiety, special needs or disabilities, or just need some one-on-one attention? The Village Kids Buddies program offers trained buddies to accompany children with special needs as they participate in Village Kids!

What is a Village Buddy?
We believe in the importance of welcoming and loving all children and families, no matter what their needs or abilities might be. Our Village Kids Buddy Ministry was formed in order to welcome, care for, and support children who have special needs or different abilities and who might not otherwise be able to participate in a church children’s ministry.
A buddy is someone who loves God, loves kids, and is ready to welcome and offer extra support to any child who may need it. Buddies work one-on-one with children with special needs or disabilities and offer as much or as little assistance as needed to fully experience the Sunday morning worship service with our Village Kids ministry (ages 6 weeks-5th grade). The goal of this ministry is inclusion whenever possible in order to help kids be a part of the church and worship alongside their peers. We work with each family to craft what this support looks like according to each child’s unique needs.
A family who is interested in being a part of this simply needs to contact us and we will begin the process of learning about the child and how we can best support him or her, making connections with a buddy, and answering any questions that may be lingering.
