GIVE

Give generously of our resources to the Kingdom of Jesus.

FUELING THE MISSION

Practicing Generosity

In 2024, our church family generously gave $1,658,285 to fuel the ministries and life-changing mission of The Village!

$1,087,695

To ministry operating budget

These funds fueled growth in all ministry areas, such as increased numbers in-person and online at worship services, record-breaking attendance in Village Kids where young people learn about the love of Jesus, and exponential growth in the number of people participating in our Village Groups!

$487,360

To building fund

Our church family generously committed to the Immeasurably More campaign in 2023, pledging to give $1,187,000.

In the first year of this 3 year campaign, we’ve received almost half of the pledge amount. And, we still have two years of contributions!

Our building is being used to share the love of Jesus in exciting new ways, from welcoming more guests than ever before during the Christmas season to hosting community events with hundreds of neighbors!

$83,230

To ministry and community partners

The generosity of The Village Church helped our ministry partners spread the Kingdom of Jesus throughout our community and the world. Organizations like Men of Valor, Siloam Health, and Water4 will use these funds to change lives!

Every dollar given to The Village fuels our mission and vision. Every story of impact, every life that’s changed in and through our church, every person The Village loves and serves in our community and around the world is directly connected to your generosity.

When you give, it changes people’s lives forever!

OUR NEW PLAYGROUND!

A Playground for the community

Thanks to the generosity of our Village Church family, we kicked off construction on June 30, 2024!

The kingdom of God is like a playground because everybody’s invited, everyone is welcome, and it’s filled with joy.
— Travis Garner

The Village Church playground officially opened on August 25, 2024! Now, on Sunday mornings our Village Kids play and connect on our playground. And we’re watching their parents grow their community, too! Our hope was for the playground’s impact on our community was to extend beyond Sundays. And we can joyfully report that the hope is coming true!

We’re literally so grateful for The Village playground! We frequent it multiple times a week.
— Kylie Hadden

SPECIAL OFFERINGS

Easter Offering

The Village Church gave $57,575 to Water4!

Since 2017, The Village has invested nearly $300,000 to bring piped safe water to communities and homes across Sierra Leone and Uganda, ending the daily three-hour walk for water.

YOU made this impact possible, by taking a reverse offering in April, adding your passion and creativity, and multiplying it, like this story from the Taveau family:

Our girls (Caroline, 11 and Charlotte, 8) baked loaves of bread to sell to raise money for Water4. We were shocked that we had so many orders, so quickly!
— Marisa Taveau

We love investing in Water4’s NUMA safe water businesses that have created over one thousand jobs while maintaining current water points and expanding safe water access. They also share the love of Jesus through over 30,000 weekly discipleship groups! We know the impact of our gift will continue to grow through their work!

Christmas Offering

The Village Church generously gave $25,000, which we shared with two of our ministry partners: Men of Valor and Siloam Health.

Thank you all so much for loving and supporting Men of Valor! We are truly grateful for this partnership with you guys. I praise God for you all!
— Tevin Peterson, Discipleship Director, Men of Valor
Thank you again so much for the Christmas offering. That will allow our Melrose clinic to serve about 150 patients. It was so generous and above and beyond what we were expecting! I think it’s so beautiful how the Village’s heart is to bless the community with what’s probably your largest offering of the year.
— Zachary Shive, Church and Community Engagement Manager, Siloam Health

MINISTRY PARTNER SUPPORT

Matthew 25:35-40

Throughout the calendar year, The Village partners with several ministries and non-profits that align with our vision of spreading the Kingdom of Jesus. Our partners in 2024 included:

We love that we get to be part of what they’re doing as the hands and feet of Christ out in the community. They’re doing things that we can’t do, because they have expertise we don’t have, but we get to be part of their ministry as we walk alongside them and support them!

GOSERVE EVENTS

GoServe Summer

Over 300 volunteers of all ages served and loved our community, supporting 20 non-profits!

Before the school year, volunteers from the Village church helped spruce up the school grounds by weeding, mulching, building planters, and planting beautiful flowers and plants! ...They helped paint a pickleball court and install a ga-ga ball pit. They also provided us with a variety of recess equipment to offer organized activity zones for students.

It is an honor to work with such lovely, compassionate people who truly care about giving back to their community. We love you, Village Church!!
— Joseph Gilkes, Principal Thurgood Marshall Middle School

GoServe Christmas

We had the most volunteers in the history of this event! 605 volunteers of all ages helped pack and deliver 800 boxes and bags of food to our neighbors dealing with food insecurity.

FESTIVAL OUTREACH

Nolensville Buttercup Festival

We were able to meet our neighbors outside of a church environment, make positive connections, and invite lots of people to visit our church!

Y’all are the church up on the hill, right? We live in South Point next door. We’ve been trying to work up the courage to go there.
— Visitor to Village Festival Booth

Broken Wheel Festival

Our family absolutely loved serving with the Village at the Broken Wheel Festival. It was a fun-filled way to serve our community by providing a safe and exciting space for families with young children to climb, jump, run, and play.

It also was an outstanding, well-organized opportunity to ‘do the work’ that Jesus demonstrated for us time and time again, as well as connect with so many new people from the community and the Village.
— Peter Montecuollo

SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS

Tusculum Elementary

The Village supports several local schools throughout the year, encouraging staff and supporting students. We’ve had a special year with Tusculum Elementary, as we’ve partnered with them in new ways!

It seems The Village never stops giving!
— Rebecca Hulse, Tusculum Elementary FRC
Tusculum is so blessed to be loved by Village Church. We are so grateful for you all!
— Mary Guidry, Tusculum Elementary FRC
The kind, resourceful staff at the Family Resource Center (FRC) at Tusculum Elementary have given us many opportunities to support their students and community.

Monthly the Village provides snack bags for students that TES teachers have identified as needing weekend food support.

Twice a month, the Village ‘rescues’ food donated by Kroger and Sprouts and joins the FRC in hosting an on-site food pantry which serves an average of over 225 individuals.
— Jeanie Kaserman, Village Volunteer Leader
