This is how much time it takes for a request to be fulfilled:
Video = 1 month
New webpage = 3 weeks
Webpage updates = 2+ weeks
Social media = 2 weeks
Pre-service slide = 2 weeks
Newsletter event = 2 weeks
STEP 1: CREATE A CCB EVENT (if applicable)
WRITE A GREAT DESCRIPTION
When you write your event description, grab people’s attention and keep their attention as you quickly lead them toward action.
What felt need to they have that this opportunity meets?
How does this opportunity align with our mission (making CG3 disciples)
Bullet points are better than paragraphs!
Aim for a description of around 100 words. If you get stuck, ask a teammate for help.
RESIZE YOUR PHOTO FOR THE CCB EVENT
OPEN THE CANVA FILE "Event Graphics for CCB - download as JPEG!"
Duplicate the template.
Drop your photo in.
Your photo doesn’t need text! It will always show up with your event description.
Download the graphic as a JPEG. Unfortunately, PNG files show up blurry on CCB.
THE FINAL STEP
When the event is ready, go under the “Publish” tab and make it “Visible” on our Public calendar.
Check on the Village Events page. Is it there?

From The Village (avoid stock photos)
Related to the event
Is color (not B&W)
Is compelling, attractive, and makes people want to learn more!
RESIZE YOUR PHOTO
OPEN THE CANVA FILE "NEW!!! Photos for newsletter (750 x 475 px)"
Duplicate the template.
Drop in your photo. Resize to fit.
STEP 3: CREATE A PRE-SERVICE SLIDE DRAFT (if needed)
OPEN THE CANVA FILE "PROPRESENTER CURRENT"
Choose Template Option 1, 2, or 3.
DUPLICATE that page (you can leave your new page at the top of the file)
Click "Notes" toward the bottom left of the screen for helpful tips.
Drop in your photo and your info.
That’s it! No need to download.
