So much has happened in eight short years. What began as a couple dozen people gathered in a living room dreaming about a church for the community has become hundreds of people gathering every week, worshiping in a brand-new building and sharing the love of Jesus in tangible ways in one of the fastest-growing communities in the country.
Believing God wants to do immeasurably more through us in this community and beyond, our leaders are inviting everyone who calls The Village Church home to participate in the Immeasurably More fundraising campaign. This will better position us to engage our growing community and to reach and serve as many of our neighbors as possible with the love of Jesus.

As part of our original construction loan agreement, we will refinance our balance in 2027. A three-year campaign that begins in 2024 will allow us to reduce the debt as much as possible before we refinance. The less debt we have in 2027, the lower our debt, lower our long-term mortgage payment, and more flexibility we have to invest our resources in non-building related ministry and mission.

Campaign contributions are intended to be “over and above” contributions to the overall ministry budget for the three-year contribution period. Campaign contributions will help in a variety of ways both short-term and long-term:
• The principal on our mortgage will be paid using campaign funds, freeing up approximately $180,000 per year from the ministry budget for ministry and mission.
• The playground, courtyard, building enhancements, and investments in live-streaming our worship will help us to better connect with the people in our community.
• Every dollar reduced from our principal over the next three years is a dollar we will be able to invest in ministry and mission in the long-term.

Yes! The playground will be accessible for those with special needs. It will be also be accessible for the community and open for public use.

In the fall of 2019, we launched the For the Community campaign to provide the down payment and initial costs of our building project. The contribution period began in 2020 and ended in 2022. The Immeasurably More campaign is the next step in the process, to launch us forward in ministry and mission in this next season and to help us move toward completely eliminating our debt.

Giving to the For the Community (Building Fund) campaign will close in January, 2024 when the contribution period for the Immeasurably More campaign begins. You may transfer your giving from For the Community to Immeasurably More using the online giving portal or you may contact info@thevillagenashville.com for assistance.

The actual front door of the church used to be the first encounter that guests had with the church. Now, however, almost no one who visits a church in person does so without first checking it out online. The online presence of the church has become the digital “front door.” In order to continue to reach and serve our community with the love of Jesus, we need to go to people where they are, which is often first online.
